Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie is first woman who has been crowned winner of CrossFit Games in two consecutive seasons. She was second in both the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion, and a popular media figure. She has gained fame for being the only woman who has ever won two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. The other accomplishments she has achieved include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2013 and 2013. Annie and her parents as well as her siblings, were born and grew up within Reykjavik Iceland. When she was a kid, she was always a enthusiast of fitness and sports. She was a participant in numerous school events and earned several medals. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir took part in the CrossFit game in California. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 by 2021. She is 5' 7" tall, and weighs 67 kilograms. Annie started CrossFit in California 2009. She did well in her first competitions and was at the top of the list out of 70. But she did not win a championship and concluded with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. The following year, she was a participant in another CrossFit competitions and due to her dominant performance she won the competition and became the first female to win CrossFit Games. Annie became the very first woman who has ever won successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to an exceptional performance. A silver medal was won in 2014. In 2021, she was awarded an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was created by Annie. With rising fame as an athlete, Annie has been a face of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae, among other brands. The self-titled Youtube page is awash with over 1000 users, posting videos of her family, travel and other topics and training-related diets.
