Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and animal rights activist. She is renowned for her movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). In New York, she was born and brought up in an creative family. The first job she had was a photo assistant. She then moved on to modeling and acting. Her first two movies, she was recognized and won her the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw's film Love Story was an international smash, and earned the actress an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. MacGraw was deemed the top female box-office star of the world after only three films. At Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she was able to have her name and footprints hand-engraved. She has starred in several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among others. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, came out. MacGraw's been married three different occasions.
